Teens Now Talk and =ITY (Inspiring Today’s Youth Society) are hosting a youth oriented Stomp Out Racism, Black Lives Matter Rally at Glasgow Square in New Glasgow, Saturday September 5th, 2020 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. The event is brought to you by Teens Now Talk with partnering sponsors The Town Of New Glasgow and MacGillvray Injury and Insurance Law. It will feature keynote speakers, dancers, musical performances and drummers. The theme “Stomp Out Racism, “Hold the Line” was chosen to underscore the importance of continuing to strive for equality in our communities. The event will be held outdoors at Glasgow Square. Participants are encouraged to wear face masks, which will be provided on site for those who do not have one. The event has a maximum capacity of 250 people and preferred entry will be given to youth. The event space, and line-up areas, will be marked with social distancing markers and hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance/ exits. Social distancing will be encouraged at all times during the event.
